Grapple fruit is a combination of both grapes and apple.
Grape + apple= grapple. The fruit tastes like grapes and looks like apple. It is a brand name for Fuji or gala apple and it has been specially treated to make the taste of the fruit flesh like a grape.

Israeli researchers produced a genetically engineered tomato that tastes with its hint of lemon and rose aromas. Nearly 82 people have tested the experimental fruit against unmodified counterparts. It describes as perfume, rose, geranium and lemon grass.

The genetically modified tomatoes were preferred by 49 members
Unmodified tomatoes were preferred by 29 members
Four expressed no preference.


Genetically modified tomatoes, have only a light red colour because they have only half as much lycopene as conventional tomatoes. It may have longer shelf life and need less pesticide to grow.




Aprium Fruit


An aprium is a hybrid fruit of plums and apricots. Apriums are available in United States during the period of June. The fruit is dry and less juicy and extremely sweet with orange flavour. The taste of ripe apriums is an apricot taste.

The fruit was a light yellow coloured fruit and has a fuzzy, apricot like skin. It contains 75% apricot and 25% plum. Aprium is a climacteric fruit; it will continue to ripen after harvest. It makes an excellent addition to pies, salads, and preserves.
